STEFANO FAVA + ALEXANDRA WOOD
Back together again - for one weekend only!
For the first time in almost two years and to celebrate our TangoBootCamp 5th anniversary we are delighted to have Alexandra
and Stefano teaching and performing together at TangoBootCamp again. As our original teachers and principals they have always
had a strong connection with TangoBootCamp and have continued to work with us individually and with different partners. We
are incredibly thrilled to have them together one more time and we know that it will provide an electrifying
weekend.
Stefano is one of the most experienced tango teachers in Europe. He now lives and runs a school in Italy alongside current dance partner Gisela Vidal. He has studied intensively with the greatest Tango legends including Miguel Angel Zotto and the Disparis. He has previously partnered Alexandra and the late Andrea Misse. He has spent much of the past years teaching and performing across Asia. He lives and breathes tango and is highly articulate + knowledgeable about the culture and the music. He is as passionate about his teaching as he is his dancing. 
OTHER TEACHERS Warren is the founder of TangoBootCamp and has been partner dancing for more than 20 years. In addition to running the TangobootCamp events, milongas and other dance events he teaches busy tango classes 3 nights a week in Brighton and Sussex. He will be joined by his regular partners Julie, Kerenza, Rachel and David.
MAZAIKA
Mazaika are a true musical 'tour de force'. They are an international couple who are natural entertainers and play tango with an incredible passion. The sets they will play for us in Hove will be popular traditional
classics, totally designed for dancing in the milonga. The sound they make is full and luscious and Igor also
has a beautiful tango voice. They have played at major tango festivals in UK/Europe and also some of it's
most popular milongas. Last year they captivated us at our milonga and it is a delight to welcome them back by popular
demand to Hove for our Valentines Masked Ball. |
