Our popular Beginners Intensive Introduction
to WestCoastSwing is ideal if you want to learn this sexy, funky dance but don’t have time or desire for regular classes.
Your one stop beginners toolkit - all the basic patterns, + lots of musicality/style tips in one afternoon. Tutor is lovely
American Rachel Martino who is also the current UK WCS Open Champion. You won’t get better tuition or value than this.
It costs just £15 for the two hours beginners intensive plus you get entry to Saturday night decaDance so you can practice
what you’ve learnt. You can also do the Improvers for no extra charge (+ optional free Sunday tasters!). Total Beginners

Halloween Thriller (31st October) - WCS BootCamp@decaDance We are delighted that 2009
UK Champ Rachel Martino will be with us again on Saturday 31st October. Rachel
will teach extended classes for both beginners and improvers. This is of course followed by a late night freestyle
at decaDance with the best local and visiting dancers and loads of phat wcs tooons!
Following on from our fantastic bootcamp with Paul

Lovely Alex Wingate will take a beginners and improvers class. Class
starts at 7.45 in Ralli Hall Gym. Alex is a very experienced dance teacher of many different styles. She has learnt WestCoastSwing
with Paul and Cat and now teaches it in Sussex. The classes will be followed by another great late night, multiple
room decaDance event (more info at www.decadancenights.co.uk). The price is £15 for the 2 classes and the freestyle or a bargain £13 if you are on our mailing list. To

Paul and Catriona are back with us
for our second WestCoastSwing bootcamp. This time it's aimed at Improvers. Ideal for anyone who has done a little bit of WestCoastSwing
before. Don't worry if you are a bit rusty because the first hour will be a thorough revision of the basics before they embark
on the exciting new stuff.

Following lots of requests for regular classes with top teachers we launch our 'WestCoastSwing on Saturday'
sessions
Lorraine Coulson will run the first one. Lorraine is one of the loveliest wcs dancers and is able to in
the nicest way ‘put you right.’ She is also from a jive background so can immediately spot the typical errors
beginners make when they start wcs. She regularly teaches with Kevin Flynn at Cat’s Twickenham venue. They also run
their own successful classes in NorthWest London.

Swing Championships
Hot news off the press. Last weekend our WestCoastSwingBootCamp teachers once again delighted the audience
and judges at the 2009 UK WestCoastSwing Champs in Weston Super Mare. Despite the most fierce competition they retained the
top trophy by winning the Classic Division (teachers and pros). Paul Warden also took first place with Rachel Martino in the
Open Strictly Swing (Cat couldn’t compete in this one). Well done to them and once again confirms that we only bring
you the very best teachers for WestCoastSwing!

Paul and CAt WIN again in USA
Last weekend Paul and Catriona were competing at Capital
Swing in Sacramento.
This is a major US WCS convention and all the top world pros are there competing in various categories. Well folks, guess
what? They won again!
