RALLI HALL

We love our Friday venue 'The Loft' but it is unavailable on Saturdays.
For Saturday events we dance at another of our favourite venues, upstairs at Ralli Hall. It has all the features
you expect at a decaDance event - a big dance area in the main room plus two smaller rooms of music, full bar,
dancing till 2am. If you get there early enough there are some spaces on site (down the ramp). If not there are plenty
of off-street out of hours free metred spaces in surrounding roads. You might need to walk a couple of minutes but
considering the miles you will dance it isn't going to kill you. If you can't be bothered to find a space then Hove
Station Car Park is across the road and open 24 hours (payment required).

Venue Layout
Ralli Hall is a great venue. The main room is large with a beautiful freshly laid
wooden floor, full size stage and seating areas. The Sound System and lighting are also recently upgraded
and create the right night time decaDance ambience. The two other rooms are much smaller but plenty big enough for
a number of couples to dance tango and blues in. We light these rooms softly and sexily. Please note the tango room
has carpet but it is a very tight, flat short pile. It is very easy to dance tango on with dance shoes
or leather soles. We have had lots of decent tango dancers and teachers in there and none of them have found the
carpet to be a problem at all! There is also a staffed cloakroom for your coats and bags.

Drinking and Eating
Alex's bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced. He also make mean cocktails, especially
his legendary mojitos. There are some small bar nibbles available. There is a great stonebaked pub/pizza
restaurant around the corner by the station if you fancy a quick bite before the event. Further down to the seafront Hove
has loads of reasonably priced independent restaurants.
GETTING HERE
Car
The venue is very easy to get
to from all directions and we advise people to check out the google map above. Best approach from London is via A23, A27 avoiding
Brighton traffic completly. The venue has some on site parking which will be allocated on a first come basis
(down the ramp opposite tescos). If not there are plenty of off-street out of hours free metred spaces in surrounding
roads. You might need to walk a couple of minutes but considering the miles you will dance it isn't going to
kill you. If you can't be bothered to find a space then Hove Station Car Park is across the road and open 24 hours (payment
required).
Bus
Number 7 bus runs 24 hours to/from Brighton and stops right by the venue (Hove Station)
Rail
Hove Train station is directly opposite the venue. Trains from London Victoria stop directly
at Hove or you can go from other London stations to Brighton station and get a train or bus from there. In most cases
journey time from London will be about 1 hour http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
Coach
There is a very good coach service from London Victoria. Although it takes a bit longer than the
train, it is as cheap as chips (current deals available as low as £6 return!)http://www.nationalexpress.com/bp/b2.cfm?id=108599434). It is then a samll bus ride on the number 7 to Hove station for Ralli Hall.
